CETS v1 — Codex of Texts from the Eastern Turkic Sphere

CETS is conceived as a codex programme that develops texts from the Eastern Turkic sphere as digital editions within a TEI-based editorial and technical framework. Its initial set seeks to establish a shared editorial standard, documentation structure, and versioning practice through a group of priority texts from the field, while also providing a production line open to the gradual extension of the same framework to additional works.

Within this framework, textual structure, variants, and editorial decisions are represented in a visible and documentable form. This supports the management of editions in ways that remain updateable, traceable, and comparable, while also creating the conditions for parallel reading, comparative study, and the development of long-term research lines across texts from the Eastern Turkic sphere.
